Last September I was in New York and an Italian friend introduced me one of the best places in the city – Eataly. The reason that I have chosen this as my favorite spot does not solely rest on the fact that I love great food. What I found exceptionally special about this place was it’s charming allure of an authentic Italian atmosphere that you experience while dining here.
Eataly is one big market filled with Italian products only. Inside the market, there are small restaurants that you can stop at to taste some cheese and wine, enjoy some great seafood or have a delicious experience with a real Italian pizza or pasta dish!
In the marketplace you can find all kind of pasta, sweets, cheese, breads, sauces, pastramis and seafood.
There is more than your stomach could ever imagine and it is all 100% authentic Italian cuisine.
And if your in the mood to take a crack at becoming an Italian chef, then there are a variety of great cookbooks just waiting for you to get your hands on. The one in New York is their newest location and the first one in America.
We had lunch in the La Pizza e Pasta restaurant and I shared two incredible pizzas with my friend: Ventura and Verace TSG. Hmmm!
If you are planning to go to New York don’t forget to include Eataly in your list of places to go. I strongly recommend it!
