Ink48’s Roof is the Top
When thinking about New York one of the attractions that will probably come to your mind is to visit a rooftop – the city is famous for their rooftops with cool restaurants, bars and nightclubs. There are great options with incredible urban views in this vertical city, but the first one that come up for me is the Ink48.
Ink48 is actually a Midtown Manhattan boutique hotel, located where 11th Avenue meets West 48th Street. Even the hotel is ranked one of the top New York City hotel on TripAdvisor, what called my attention is the rooftop. The place is not that popular when comparing to others New York’s famous rooftops so loud music and crowds are not the characteristic of the place. Press at Ink48 is a bar/lounge, more quiet, few seats available in a huge area with all this buildings around with a fantastic view of the city. It is a great place to go for a happy hour, to watch the sunset or a drink with friends before head to a night club.
If you are in New York or is planning to go, its worth the visit! If you don’t want to visit the Central Park to take a break of noises, pollution, people, cars and all the things that is always going on in New York, go to the Press at Ink48 for a fresh air and delicious drinks.
Other options of nice rooftops in New York are the 230 Fifth and the Gansevoort Hotel rooftop.
